(no subject)
Wow, it's scary how little I update this. I am actually going on another trip to Japan, which as I can see is only a few posts down.
This time things are off to an interesting twist. Our AC broke this week, and we needed a new compressor. Got that replaced. Tonite (the night before), it stops working. The drainage in the attic was clogged and that caused it to stop. Got that fixed. I figured that was enough weird stuff to deal with the day before, but I was wrong...
The FAA grounded nearly all the AA flights on MD80s today. Long story short, our flight to dallas (flying dallas to tokyo is after that, but unaffected) is cancelled. AA was able to get us to fly from Killeen to Dallas instead.
So tomorrow at 6am we drive to Killeen, then fly to Dallas, then resume the journey how it should have been.
I hope to take a lot of pictures and get them posted here. I'll try to keep things updated more often here too, so stay tuned...
