split ends

i got a hair cut on the last day of school (the 19th) and i already have split ends. i need to cut my hair again, but i kinda want a new look. this one is getting old. nothing short(no bobs) but something different.

any ideas and any tips to not get split ends?

hey shannon, well, i dont know about how to prevent split ends, BUT you should get an EMO girl hair cut, or dye it a funky color, like green or pink

Hot water encourages split ends because it tends to dry the hair (and skin), so just wash your hair with cool or warm water. Umm, I have this spray that I use when I do my hair. It helps protect hair from heat damage (ie split ends) when you straighten and curl it. Hair is more fragile when wet, so don't stress it out. Avoid blowdrying at all costs. Hmmm, I think that's all I have right now. If I have anything else, I'll tell you. Hope I helped.

Quit cutting your hair. eh? A good moisturizing conditioner. YOur hair is pretty thick so i don't see how it splits so easily.
