I've come at a most imperative time -- as though it were a celebration. How much of it is coincidence? They would know nothing of Akaneia's hard-earned victory.

I'm certain if she were here, she would love it. I believe I will send her flowers instead.

Do I... Perhaps I do. We are endlessly changing. I am not immune to these charms, so perhaps my own progression is simply more noticeable than others'.

There were pressing matters in Akaneia. I suppose if I had been any later, there would have been no hope. I never imagined it would be so long, however.

A couple days is long now? And I'm no expert... but wasn't your home called Altea?

Altea is my homeland, it's true. Upon my return, many things fell to pieces. I took my sister, Lady Sheeda, and Maric to Akaneia once we had settled things again. It would be necessary to look after my people there, than it would for me to simply remain in Altea.

....well, don't you remember? After the whole animal incident you said you might want to look into setting up some extra security? Kinda a safeguard to help prevent that sorta stuff in the future. Least, I'm pretty sure that's... what you were talking about?

Ah... Yes. I... did say something like that. I suppose so much time passes and I imagine I've done quite enough talking in the last few years to easily forget what I have and have not said. Again, however, it does sound like something I would say. I can't possibly neglect that.
