[NDS] Vampire Knight DS - Kiryuu Zero
Quick rambles on VK game, since I have completed one round. Chased after Zero, of course. Not very in-depth, since I had a problem with the sound and wound up skipping most of the text, therefore enabling me to finish the game in two hours! Compared to the usual 8 hours for each gameplay for other dating sim games.
I DIDN'T EXPECT A KISS SCENE :OOOOO
In terms of dokidoki factor, I didn't find it exactly dokidoki. As in, I didn't squeal and all that every time Zero or Shiki turns up. The only time I squealed was probably when you are given an option to let Ichijou suck your blood, which is rather... strange, considering that despite being a vampire, he's not exactly a bloodsucker and probably the least vampiric of the night class guys. So uhm, yeah, that rare chance where he wants to taste your blood made me go AIEEEEEEEEEE SENPAAAAAAI.
Game is in the visual novel style which means I actually skipped a lot of text. I would listen to the guys talk since they're fully voiced, but their voices sound strange. I mean, I was using earphones and the voice quality is kind of robotic and low. Even at the highest volume, sometimes I can't hear Kaname talk properly and Zero doesn't sound like Mamo when he's talking, only when he's making those grunting, "I need Yuuki's blood" sounds or yelling. For dating sim games, I still like Koei's Neoromance style best, sorry.
Chasing after Ichijou now eeee.
Going out to town and running into vampires = you have to fight them. There are too many of them so Zero comes to save you yeah!
Zero: You vampires...!
Night Rainbow time. Because if you see a rainbow at night, apparently your wishes will come true! =_=; It rained at night but we could still see a rainbow! How come I can't see rainbows after it rains at night? :(
Kaname: This is the Night Rainbow. How beautiful...
I don't know what's up with his Let's Go Beyond the Stars!!!1!1! pose.
One of the minigames involves you spying on the boys lolol. Uhm, there are a total of six windows, one for each guy, just poke whichever window belonging to the guy are chasing after. Spy on them till the gauge reaches max, but when they look at you/outside their window, quickly look away (as in, avoid eye contact), and when they're not looking, spy on them again.
After too many times spying on Zero~
Zero: If you want to know that much about me, then just come into my room.
NOT WHAT YOU SHOULD SAY TO GIRLS but since they're living under the same roof, I guess it's like some people in a mixed dorm.
Fashion check game! Uhm, it's actually really boring unless you are there for the lulz. Just equip the character with whatever you have bought and see if they like it or not.
Zero would kill me if I went with this. XD I was tempted to go with this, but I went with normal clothes in the end.
One day Yuuki has a dreeeeam. At the beach, at that! I snorted when I saw the beach. Ichijou asks if I/she likes kisses, and Yuuki says yes so...
Ichijou: If you like them so much, I'll give you one. Close your eyes.
ICHIJOU-SENPAI Y U SO BOLD IYAAAAAAN. I don't know, Ichijou's just so polite that when he does something like this, I nosebleed.
In the 5th or 6th chapter, it's about a dog called Chibi! Yuuki brings the dog around while patrolling lolol. I skipped all the text actually, because I was chasing for Zero and didn't care about what the others are saying, but I did pause to take pics.
Shiki: Ms. Prefect... what are you doing?
As for Kain:
Kain: U~n, she's not waking up.
Really, because I skipped all the text, I don't know what happened.
HOWEVER! I didn't skip the text for Ichijou's scene with the dog, because I was hoping for a CG too, but they didn't give me one! Sadface. But it is pretty funny, because he insists on calling the dog "Tama" (a common name for cats) even when Yuuki tells him that its name is Chibi. Dog is all, "???" when Ichijou keeps calling it Tama. XD
Like I expected, the dog is evil. It's a vampire dog! WHATEVER THAT IS. Zero and Kaname kill it off in the end, so Yuuki yells at Zero (you can choose to place the blame on Kaname too actually) but realizes that she may have hurt his feelings at some point so...
Yuuki: Zero, I'm so sorry T___T;
Last chapter involves a dance. Lololol what's with all these predictable things. But I can never figure out the dance game. I think I'll access the minigame gallery and replay it until I can understand how it works... [Edit] Ok, I figured it out! Pay attention to the left screen while you tap on the touch screen, not the right. orz
Anyways, cheesy Zero coming up.

Yuuki: He suddenly hugged me...
Zero: I don't want to let you go.
For some reason I was >_>; when typing this out...
After you've completed one round, you can save.
And now you can go after Yagari! And I wish they won't keep on messing up the guys' names. Either stick to English or Japanese and not both! I still prefer Kuran for Kaname and Aidou instead of Idou. And decide whether to leave names with an extra "u" intact or not! Like, they use Ichijou, but never used Kiryuu. /rant on romanized names
Oh at the end of the game, Zero wants to suck your blood. Let him do it to get this CG:
There'll be a choice where you pick where you want him to bite you and pick the left side of her neck. If you pick the other places (even thighs are possible biting places lolol), you won't get the CG. Yah, I saved and tried out all the spots for biting
Other Zero CG stuff during the course of the game:
More biting from the middle of Zero's route! But uh, to get this CG, you must be hesitant and not let him bite you. Insist on shoving a blood tablet down his throat until he can't take it and bites you on the wrist. XD If you willingly let him bite you, no CG.
After you are attacked by vampires and he comes to you, you can ask him to tag along with you lolol.

Uhm, this is actually from my Ichijou gameplay. I guess if you give Zero chocolates in school, you won't get this CG. Because I gave my chocs to Ichijou, there was a scene where I gave some to Zero too.
Ichijou's one next time~ I'm at the doggy chapter now.
I think would've liked it better if this game continued deeper into the story after Yuuki has awakened her pure-blood vampiric powers. Plus I like her scythe when she is vampire!Yuuki compared to her normal rod when she was human!Yuuki. And as she's a true descendent of the Kuran family, normal vampires would probably be more scared of her than of Kaname. But then, if there won't be much damsel-in-distress scenes in the game = less CGs.
But Aidou/Yuuki would be more fun with vampire!Yuuki around, because he would probably snap at her and then quickly retracting his words because she is of higher ranking than him. XD

Also watched the first episode of Kamen Rider Decade and... it's quite cool. 8D;; Sadly I only recognise stuff from Kabuto onwards, because I don't remember much from Ryuuki. So I only understood the attacks from Worms, Fangire and Imajin, but went O__O? at the seafood monsters. Oh, I know Hibiki uses musical instruments or something to attack, but monster-wise, I have no idea. And I'm not fond of series where Riders fight one another, so I hope this won't turn out into a fightfest like at the start of the ep...
