[PSP] Kiniro no Corda - bits of Tsukimori Ren [Len] (nth Play) + Yunoki Azuma (First Play, Part 1)
It's pretty pathetic, but I laughed like a hyena at this.
Also decided to fix my Leaning Tower of Lacus Clyne #1 by... making her lean the other way. Leaning Tower of Lacus Clyne #2 is still a hopeless case, though. Anyway I was testing out the different modes in my camera while trying to take pics of figurines.

It's been almost two months since I last did a random Corda game post. Sorry, I keep telling myself that I'll get on to Yunoki's route and then Tsuchiura (the Corda fans on my flist tend to be Tsuchiura fans... where's the love for Tsukimori and Yunoki?) but I kinda got lazy, ahahaha. I might play Yunoki's route once again before starting on Tsuchiura, though. Nfufufufu. Anyway, first up is a bit from Tsukimori's route from the 4th to 6th time no no no, I AM DEFINITELY NOT a fangirl 8D what are you looking at?, because I was trying to get his last two unlocked CGs.

Remember the scene where Tsukimori's reading a book and you can go and disturb him for a bit? I just like to take pictures of him sitting. XD
Check out the way Yunoki sits too. I think he's sitting with the left leg over the right, but the right leg all... straightened?
This is after one of the selections (not the first, because Tsuchiura came to talk to me and got himself dragged into the concours lol) when Tsukimori offers to walk me home.
Tsukimori: Ah... uhm, if you're fine with it, I want to accompany you to your home/house. Just a little more... no, it's nothing.
Actually he wants to talk for a little longer ahaha.

Tsukimori's so picky; you're only guaranteed a confession ending if you managed to raise the skill/rivalry points to over 600. Well, I think it's the same for Hihara. And the second song he likes is Cantabile Version B! Okay, I cheated and checked my memorial book instead of playing random music and see if he likes it. Good thing I cheated too, because Cantabile Version B requires two skills learnt AND Cheerfulness Lvl 19 (omgbbq) before you can play it. If I didn't know he likes that piece, I wouldn't have even bothered trying to increase my Cheerfulness level and try playing that song.
I couldn't help talking to Yunoki, so that's why he's a little interested in me. 1.55am fufufu

Aaaaand this is from the last time I played Tsukimori's route. The 6th time. I might've hit 7, who knows.
Lol, Tsukimori at the top of the pyramid thing = A GUARANTEED CONFESSION. And the third selection hasn't even ended! Fastest progress evarrr. At least I don't have to worry about getting a bad ending and I can afford to screw up the last two selections and still get my confession ending. I am too skilled for these people, that's why they're either in the middle, or standing towards the left side. XD
Seeeeeee? Heart thingies are important, but you need high rival points too. (If you win the first two selections, it'll usually be easy, because Tsukimori's rival points will increase a lot XD)
They should've stuck to that face instead of the :D one.
And look FIRST TIME EVER! 1000 points for both. Usually the rival points are harder to get but yeay. I feel accomplished. >:Ob That's why I don't understand why people say Tsukimori's route is rather hard (I thought Hihara's was harder!), because I've gotten his confession ending each time I play (except for the first time, since I was clueless about the game). Bit of advice for those who are playing the first game and chasing after Tsukimori. Pieces you should play:
1st Selection: Ave Maria (アヴェ ・ マリア) Version B, as the piece concentrates on Elegance, but increases Sadness as well. It also contains the two keywords you need for the first selection (depending on which option you pick when you're learning it). Play a bit of Melody and Gavotte once you've maxed out Ave Maria Version B, in order increase Sadness and Cheerfulness levels more.
2nd Selection: Kanshouteki na Waltz (感傷的なワルツ) Version B. This is one of the pieces Tsukimori likes, so why not play it? Depending on the option you pick, you'll get two of the keywords you require too. Plus the song increases Sadness greatly. Play other songs during the remaining time left till the day of the 2nd Selection.
3rd Selection: Humouresque. (ユーモレスク) Lol I actually got the spelling correct when I was wondering about it in one of my posts... I think any version will do. Happy songs are good for the 3rd Selection. The song concentrates on Cheerfulness, so max out on one for the selection and try to max out the rest. Use the Hawaiian shirt item thingy along with your performance, because they'll multiply your Cheerfulness points by 2, and the more points you get, the faster you can increase your Cheerfulness level to 19 so that you'll be able to play Cantabile.
4th Selection: Cantabile (カンタービル) Version B, durrrr, since Tsukimori likes it too. XD You need two skill thingies, but I think you'll already have one if you have learnt some skills (by running around), so all you need is to just buy one more relevant skill book. There's only one keyword which is from the list of keywords for the 4th Selection, but you can still play this song anyway, since it's quite a high-level one. (I mean, I tried playing a song with two of the required results and got a lower ranking whereas I got a higher ranking with Cantabile, despite it having only one of the required keywords.)
If you can do that, you'll get loads of rival points from Tsukimori. XD And yanno, when practising, make sure he's nearby to impress him or something. He'll be stingy unless you're really good, but sometimes he'll give some words of encouragement. And I think you can perform a duet for Cantabile with him too. :Db
There, my rankings are pretty good with those songs. I don't know why Tsuchiura ranked so badly. And I ignored him most of the time, so he didn't participate in the 1st Selection. Remember, you can never be the winner in this game, so the highest you can get for overall is 2nd place. These boys are such cheaters. I don't know if you can get 1st for overall if you're chasing after Kanazawa or Ousaki, though.
Aaaaanyway, after the whole thing, there'll be flashbacks of your gameplay from each of the selections. Of course you can choose to skip it, but I watched it for the fun of it.

Tsukimori played 24 Caprice-something for the last selection (it's the same song he played for the last selection in the anime and oh heck, have a karaoke version of Fill my heart. Go to 3:26, and that's the piece. The karaoke's pretty nice to listen on its own; I listen to it on my way to work everyday. XD) and Tsuchiura played a somewhat piano version of it. Anyway I have seen it being played by real people, and it looks hard. Even festivewind (I know you teach piano, but I guess you know about violins too XD?) said that his skill is "inhuman" for a 17-year-old. You go, Tsukimori!
Anyway I also played Hihara's route for like, till the sixth time and finally got his confession ending. Took you long enough, dammit. In order to increase his skill points, I played the same songs I did when chasing for Tsukimori, because Humouresque and Cantabile are both happy songs and well, he likes happy songs. But I think Morita's voice-acting in the confession wasn't good enough. XD;;

Every single day. 8D But I usually don't do that, because 1. you don't know where she'll be and 2. she looks like any other female music student in the game: blue tie, long, brown hair (gen ed female students have short hair) and cream uniform. In the anime and manga, she's actually Tsukimori's classmate.

The sucky thing about being near a guy when they're performing is that you can't perform, be it a solo or a duet/quintet/whatever. So usually I'll just stand there and pretend to watch. XD After the guy has finished performing, your character, as well as the ones surrounding the guy, will clap.

At this point, I had to restart the game all over again. See, there was one scene where Black Yunoki was teasing me as usual, so I put up a kind of sad face. When he asked why, I said that it was his fault (just for the kick of it, as payback for Black Yunoki being mean) and he was like, "I see. I'm sorry then. :<" or something like that. I'll have to look into the events gallery to check the scene again. Anyway, I lost A LOT of rabu points and I couldn't chase after him anymore. So now it's my fault? D: Anyway, I stopped halfway and started all over again, back to that scene in the game. Continuing on...
One day, he was near the gates, so there's the option of going home with him. He doesn't mind. 8D

She's waiting for you. XD Actually, that's Mori Manami and when you walk nearer, she'll approach you and offers to be your accompanist. She's a very, very nice person. *_* I don't know if you need to reach a level for something, but if you talk to her everyday, she'll give you an item. Every single day. 8D But I usually don't do that, because 1. you don't know where she'll be and 2. she looks like any other female music student in the game: blue tie, long, brown hair (gen ed female students have short hair) and cream uniform. In the anime and manga, she's actually Tsukimori's classmate.

Apparently some first year gave a cookie (or a bag of cookies) and he gave one to me. Way to give others' gifts to er... others. Wait, I think that's what some people do for Xmas Actually he turned black after that, but I didn't snap a pic.

The sucky thing about being near a guy when they're performing is that you can't perform, be it a solo or a duet/quintet/whatever. So usually I'll just stand there and pretend to watch. XD After the guy has finished performing, your character, as well as the ones surrounding the guy, will clap.
This is Black Yunoki!
At this point, I had to restart the game all over again. See, there was one scene where Black Yunoki was teasing me as usual, so I put up a kind of sad face. When he asked why, I said that it was his fault (just for the kick of it, as payback for Black Yunoki being mean) and he was like, "I see. I'm sorry then. :<" or something like that. I'll have to look into the events gallery to check the scene again. Anyway, I lost A LOT of rabu points and I couldn't chase after him anymore. So now it's my fault? D: Anyway, I stopped halfway and started all over again, back to that scene in the game. Continuing on...
One day, he was near the gates, so there's the option of going home with him. He doesn't mind. 8D
Yunoki: Ahh, the car's not here yet, so let's wait a little longer till it arrives. ..That's right.
Actually after the "That's right" he'll talk to you for a bit, mostly about his family. I tend to skip them since there's no voice-acting.

Uh, no. Because the area near the railway is where I like to practise because there's a lot of people = more chances for trio and quintet performances = more BP lulz.
Yunoki: If there's a next time (i.e. next time he's free or something, because he's got quite a mean, "I > all" grandmama), let's go on a more (free and easy? "-yasui" is something like easy) recreation sometime. Maybe we might even go on a cruiser.

About the Odex fiasco... I'm not going to support the company. I'd rather spend my money on artbooks, CDs (look, I do buy originals too), figures and junkfood for pigging out instead of your crappy releases.
