I have a problem. Remember that girl that got kidnapped in the Catskills, who was found within a few hours that one awful cold night, it was all over the news? Well I was the one who found her, because I was using one of the Pen's magical items (trust me, the damned thing is back with them now.) But I can't explain how I knew where she was, because "I followed a ball of yarn" wouldn't go over well. I was out of position, it took way too short a time to find her, the girl was scared out of her mind because I trashed the area fighting with her abductor - so now I'm under investigation.
What the hell do I do?
