So freakin excited that we're decorating the dance studio!
We took down the fan that the tall girls keep hitting and replaced it with a really pretty semi-flush light. Better light with less glare. No chance of injuring people's gands in fan blades.
This weekend I'll start painting the walls red. Then gold accents, Drishti logo & finally laminate floors will follow.
It will be the sexiest dance studio around!
Decor aside, I am so grateful to have a dance studio! (pause for gratitude dance around the room!)
I'm taking a workshop with a really good teacher, and last week she was talking about how she dances in front of her sliding glass door. She's way more awesome than I am, but I would not have the discipline to do that. I love the convenience, not to mention the ability to host my troupe, because let's face it, the 6 of us can't quite fit in most living rooms' open spaces & even some of the less expensive dance spaces for rent don't have mirrors!
