Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful
Today is a glorious day. I have tons to do today, but the tide seems to have turned and I am happy. I still need a break, but at least I reached the tipping point and plummeted into happy. Yesterday I made my car legal, today I have done five loads of laundry and the dishes. On to packing and shopping for food. Before I know it tomorrow will be here and I'll be headed up to the cabin. Life couldn't be better. Dad called and it looks like to celebrate my birthday we will be headed into the forest to cut Christmas trees next Saturday and then back to his place for chili and a party. I am actually delighted by this plan. I love cutting our tree every year. We do it with the forest service, so they tell us what areas need to be thinned out, we pay them a small fee and go get our tree. It's a wonderful tradition and seems to kick off the Christmas spirit for me. The sun is shining, the wind is blowing, and life is beautiful once again.
