What: Slam Poetry
Who: Anyone who wants to join me
Where: Mercury Cafe, Denver
When: Sunday 24th 8:00 PM
I plan on being there. Anyone who wants to join me is more than welcome. I will post a reminder on my live journal on Saturday. This is also the place to check for cancellations. Of course you're still welcome to go without me if something comes up that prevents me from going. Although the slam poetry starts at 8 I'd plan on being there around 730 in order to get seats. Drinks, coffee and food are also available for purchase there, but they do not take credit cards, cash or check only. They do have a cash machine. There is no cover charge but they do pass a jar for donations. You don't even have to buy a drink or food. It's just a cheap evening out. Just to let you know it is a late night. I didn't make it home until midnight and I was so jazzed it took me a while to come down off of my high and sleep.
