I just got back from one of the most amazing experiences I've had in a long time. Words were flying so fast I was awed. I'm talking about slam poetry night at the Mercury cafe. Amazing, inspiring, humbling. I went out with Ginger for her birthday and she took me to this event. It was a better high than caffein has ever given me. It was close

I used to love going there. They do something neat almost every night. I used to even like open-mic poetry night at Penny Lane coffee house in Boulder, sadly it is a bike shop now. I would love to join you too:) I am glad to hear you may start writing more again. I loved that night you and I spent just the two of us and read poetry to each other. Rilke was one I didn't really know and your writing is amazing. Wow, that was like 6 years ago. Been a long time dear friend:) Love you.
