What makes healthcare delivery so inefficient and costly in the United States?
- overdelivery of healthcare; overprescription of drugs
- culture of litigation; diversion of funds to cover unnecessary (?) / overhyped / excessive legal costs
- pharmaceutical giants / market monopolies
- research and development for medicine encased in a profit-maximizing capitalist model (effects of neoliberalism and financial liberalization)
The East / West divide - does it exist, and if so, how it affects the creation of / compliance to international norms, especially in regards to public health
The threshold time required for building representative and invested consensus that in turn creates sustainable impact and builds lasting relationships
