Stabbity.
Looks like I'm going to be building my first computer, I ordered the parts just a few hours ago. I'll probably document the process of assembling it (and fucking it up inevitably) so watch out for that in the coming week.
The Main Components
P4 3.4ghz 775 (Prescott)
Asus P5GD2 Deluxe (915P)
MSI Geforce 6600GT (planned on going with an X800Pro or XL, the former is too expensive at the moment while the latter hasn't even hit shelves [it should do so any day now.])
512mb DDR2 PC2-4200 (soon to be 1gb.)
CoolerMaster Praetorian
Seagate 160gb HD
A few other odds and ends.
Total: around $1200.00
I'm content.
Heres to hoping the motherboard doesn't tempt me with a screwdriver...
Oh, and heres some random photos I've taken since I received my camera.
-The field right next to the 10 acres or so I'll own fairly soon (rather noisy, I'm still too green.)
-My good ol' Logitech speakers (in black and white [plus a receit from WalMart, look closely and you'll see "bbqbnls wing." Those fuckers rock.])
-Utility pole from across the road.
-My cousin's car with a slow exposure (/shrugs.)
-The back of my new monitor (/shrugs again.)
-Bathroom in the "Old House."
