Ok because Justin's entry gave COMPLETELY the wrong message, I will post the real one.
That's right, the little underlined/highlighted text in parenthesis that read "The Art of the LJ-cut" is an lj-cut. These are great for a many reason, the main one being it DOES NOT POLLUTE FREIDNS PAGES. People like Justin and me most of the time, want to have recent entries on our friend's pages so we can read them all. When you decide to post quizzes or long lyrics, it pushes other, probably more important or interesting entries off of the page. This makes it VERY annoying. So I'm going to show you what an lj-cut is. It's ease of use is astounding, even to you non-web developers out there.
Alright, so here is what you do when you want to cut:
< lj-cut text="YOUR TITLE GOES HERE">
Body
....
...
..
.
< /lj-cut>
Now all you have to do is that and take away the spaces between, < and the lj-cut as well as < and /lj-cut.
Where you see YOU TITLE GOES HERE, you put the title you want everyone to see before the click on it (the highlighted, underlined one in parentheses)
In the Body secion, you put your lyrics, quiz, annoying shit I don't want to read.
I hope that helps, if it doesn't, Im me @ aesghalde1254 on AIM (make sure you tell me who you are) and I will give you the "dumbed down" version as best as I can. I'm stretching my abilities enough here.
