Oh god, today was like, excuse the vulgarity, taking a great big psychic dump. I managed to get out of the way of a (metaphorical) freight train in the form of a fellowship/money-related snafu. I've been worrying about it for the past week, which means it's been making serious inroads into my mental equilibrium and ability to concentrate and sleep ( Read more... )

It's so great, isn't it? I love how he's indignant on Castiel's behalf--if Castiel isn't going to be upset about it, at least visibly (because he does seem annoyed that Uriel's in charge now)... well, Dean's going to be :D

Poor Dean! He needs a lot of guidance in this episode, divine or otherwise :(

Thanks for posting this! I loved this extended scene. I've always thought that Misha looked beautiful/striking/handsome in this episode. More so than usual. He's always done so well in all his eps, but he just knocks it out of the park in OTHOAP. And this one ended up being one of my fave eps of S4.

That whole episode is just start to finish amazing. There are so many moments you could frame.

The last two shots are... Dean. So very him, breaking himself because that's what he does when someone he loves asks him to. The moment of surrender and then moving on with business.

You could frame those two shots just as you have them, stacked, white matting, simple black frame, and it would tell a story.

You really could. I thought the scene was brilliantly done--very little dialogue, but you know what's happening, and what the outcome will be, even before Dean gives his agreement verbally.
