fashionista/Miller's Crossing question!

Nov 25, 2007 15:08

I need your help! Venture it only, though, if you are willing to be spoiled for some bits of "Miller's Crossing."

I told dogeared how much I hope that Ronon grows to like his earth clothes, and dogeared suggested the possibility of him wearing them on missions and totally weirding out people who have never heard of The GAP. Then one day, says I, maybe John catches him looking through someone's JCrew catalogue and Ronon's all "What? WHAT? I can get the jeans in tall, okay?"

Now, observe the before/after shots below:

And I ask you, who is responsible for this? The SGC? O'Neill's bizarre sense of humor? Or...

JOHN SHEPPARD: GUERILLA CLOTHESHORSE?

dogeared suggested the possibility that John could be a secret clotheshorse (he has long sparkly curtains), who hides behind a screen of plain black t-shirts and linen Shirts of Hot. Then again, he could be the kind of guy who believes jeans should never cost more than $15 and should be worn into the ground. I honestly can't decide. A possible crux is whether or not John picked out that suit himself.

Thoughts? Opinions? Comments on John reading the newspaper? And what the hell is that a picture of on the back page? It looks like a mutated jellyfish.

Also, David Hewlett has stolen my pants because I very clearly remember having a pair just like these. It would possibly explain something about their fit.

They are very much like a pair of pants I once had, light grey with thin striping, but went missing sometime around when I moved this year and I miss them and would like them back.

the pretty, sga:ep.photos, sga:yay!
