Wow, that was fast! I wonder if Theo and co have figured out that in Martin they have an escalating series of problems? First, someone from Missing Persons works with people who are trained to find missing people. Duh. Then there's the teensy-weensy problem of Victor Fitzgerald. Finally, there's the shuffing terrifying thought of Victor and Jack agreeing on something.

Oh, this could be lots of fun. It seems like Mr Newman may have done a runner, and good luck to him!

Wow, that was fast!

I'm usually not this quick, but a substantial part of the first two chapters has been written for quite some time... the various pieces needed bringing together, though doing that took some time :/

I wonder if Theo and co have figured out that in Martin they have an escalating series of problems?

Oh, they know, and they're trying to figure out what to do about it!

I honestly have no idea where this is headed. That may be the coolest thing about it. Well, that and Viv. And worried Danny. And Theodore the Mad Scientist. And previously dead Martin. And... well, yeah.

This:

and besides, if Morris can transplant someone's brain into another body, reversing the effects of... well, death, is probably a snap.

...had me rolling.

More please :>

Neither do I. *facepalm*

...had me rolling.

Well, it's true! I mean, you'd figure that transplanting someone's brain into another body can't be easy.

Though I did read this great book recently, Stiff, by Mary Roach, and in one chapter she talks about some scientists who have considered (seriously) the possibility of doing head transplants. Or body transplants, depending. Seriously fucked up.

I haven't watched "Now and Again", even never heard of it before. But this fic, as always, is fantastic.
And after I googled "Now and Again" for some pictures , I can't wait to see Michael Wiseman enter this story!

Heh heh, thought you might feel that way :)

Now and Again pretty much demonstrates that genius is never appreciated in its own time. It was a great, regrettably short-lived show, my first-ever fandom, and well, I just love it and miss it so much.

And you know, the crazy thing is that this wasn't supposed to be angsty and scary. Just something sort of suspenseful, but mostly silly. Goes to show you what I know about my own writing. *sigh*

Seriously, tell me we won't have to wait long for the next chapter.

Right now I'm caught between writing the next chapter and writing fucked up post-Patient X angst. Don't know which one I'll decide on. *flail*

I've never watched Now and Again, but I don't care because this is AWESOME. And those doctors have no idea what they're in for.

You should care, because it was a great show. And you get to see Eric Close with his shirt off. A LOT.

Plus, the writing was great. Morris is an awful lot like McKay--scary smart, sarcastic, condescending, and a complete jerk on most occasions. And, like Sheppard, Michael loves tormenting Morris :)
