My order for Philia was shipped out last week and I've been tracking its process. Yesterday, they were making a delivery attempt, but I wasn't sure if it would be received or not since it needs a signature. Usually what happens is that I get a delivery notice slip and I have to pick it up the next day. Despite checking a number of times yesterday, the latest update was that it was out for delivery...
Yiiiippee!! It was sitting on the kitchen floor upon my arrival!! :D
So in my eagerness, I opened the box and pulled everything out. FOUR posters and all four CDs!!
Methodically, I ripped off all the plastic of the CDs first, tossed away the garbage and then opened each one to see what I got.
Opened one regular edition and got... KAMIJO!!! *Squeal* Opened the Type B one and got a group card. I think that one is "standard" since there was no mention of differing cards. Opened the second regular edition and got... YUKI!!! *Double squeal* Then opened the last regular edition and got... NOT TELLING! Mwahaha~ Because that one is for Khalia and she wanted it to be a surprise ^___^
I unrolled one poster (since they're all the same) and it looks good~ But does anyone know how to "unroll" posters? >__<;; They rolled it reaaally tight so it's super stuck in a rolled up position. I have no idea how to flatten it without wrinkling it or whatever. You could always roll it up the opposite direction, but I'm scared it will bend it funny or something.
I'm not sure if the image on the back of the Type B card is the preview for all the available types (10 cards in total), but if it is... SWEEEEET! I got the better ones!!! (In my opinion.) Annnd it's Kamijo and Yuki!! Yaaay!!
Anyways, I scanned everything and started working on icons, but I won't share anything since Khalia's still waiting for her copies. On my end, I'll try to get it out this weekend. I just don't know how to ship the poster =__=;;
Oh MY Gosh though... Ahaha, I was working on the icons right? And I got TWO done in an hour and a half? >___<;; It's going to take FOREVER to finish just one set... But it's soooo worth it!
The cards are SOOO gorgeous!! Nyahaha, I get really happy when I see them sitting in my little box organizer on my desk~
I really need to get a "collector's box" for all my Versailles stuff now.
On top of all this, I got my own mini birthday present last week. (Did I mention this already?) And sissy's birthday present should be arriving anytime this week!! YAAAY!! Versailles AND EXILE goodies all in the same month!!! :D
Oh DUUUH... Almost forgot to talk about the single itself... LOL~
I ripped the songs from one of the regular editions and put it away. For some reason, the CDs have a tendency not to work on my CD player... Probably because it's kind of really old. So yah, I uploaded the songs to one of my old mp3 players and just played it on repeat... Mwahaha~
I really like Philia. Judicial Noir was mm... Good, but not my favourite style. Desert Apple... LOOOVE!! It's really "fun", for lack of a better way of describing... haha. I just really like it. I think each one is "as expected"...? Meeeh... I don't like describing it, but they're all enjoyable in their own way!
Okay! Khalia! You haaaave to review them when you get the chance!! Though I'm sure you would even without me saying anything XD
