I used to have speakers for my computer, but they died a couple years back. I tried to get these mini pod types, but there were two issues with it: first, that the sound quality wasn't good since I had to crank up the volume to hear it a little, and secondly that the cord connector was super short, so they were stuck right next to my laptop. The old ones would sit near the back so they were out of the way. Because of that, I ended up not listening to music on my laptop anymore. When I watch anime/movies on my computer, I would plug in actual headphones and use those instead.
Today, I had to pick up my sister after work since my dad suddenly said he needed my car this morning. So while I waited for her, I did a bit of shopping at Target. I needed new slippers since my old ones were getting gross and grimy. With that pair, I noticed that I have a bad tendency to stand on the outer side of my feet - particularly the left one. Like while I'm standing in front of the sink in the morning, brushing my teeth. I noticed it because the bottom lining of my other pair of slippers were sloped outwards, which would only have that shape if I stood that way.
Anyways, after the slipper hunt was finished, I headed towards the electronics department since I needed to pick up an iTunes card. I wanted to look into some bluetooth speakers since that seems to be one of those "new" things - no wires! They didn't have much selection, but I picked one out, a little apprehensive since it's essentially a larger version of my mini pod ones...
Trying it out now and it works great! Phew~ I was worried about the sound quality, but it's really good. I have it on the lowest setting and it's quite loud. No wires and no need to constantly plug headphones into my ears (I use the bud type) since they get uncomfortable over time. Yay! A successful $30 spent.
