Shiny New~
Yoohoo~ It has been a while ^__^
To start off this "shiny new" post... Icon! Yay! Tomoe... I just want to pinch your chibi cheeks, you're so darn adorable! hehe, from a screencap from one of the new anime series I'm watching - Kamisama Hajimemashita. He doesn't usually look like that - much hotter... XD But I'm not complaining with cute!
Anyways, lately I've been on a bit of a spending spree... *slaps hand* It's not like you actually got that raise yet.
Buut... This item has been on my list of wants for like ever. We got rid of our upright piano a while back with the whole "house-selling-plan" (which is in place). Not sure if I updated on this or not.
Since my mom's a member of Costco, I was browsing through the member package they give and there was a digital piano on sale!! Only during the last week of October/first week of November. Yeah, that was my wishlist item. So yup, totally snagged that up! Still costs a pretty penny, but I mean... $200 off is a really hard deal to resist!!
I set it up in my room since yeah, we're trying to uh, minimize clutter due to the above plan. Cleaned up my room by packing up all my books and CDs into boxes and took my two bookshelves downstairs to the basement.

The other thing on my wishlist item, for like ever... Boots! Knee-high boots. I always look, pretty much every fall-winter and it's sooo hard to find something that fits. FIRST, I have tiny feet AND it's a half-size. Five-and-a-half to be exact. Most places don't make half-sizes to begin with, and nothing that small. Always, always a six at the smallest.
Well, I actually found a pair earlier this year, but I wasn't completely sold on them... They fit, but they were still pricey in my opinion. But my sis and mom were at the same place yesterday, so I decided I wanted to go check it out again since she brought it up. (Had to escape the place anyways... Will explain later.)
Found a pair that fit really nicely on my uh, calves? Is that what it's called? And it wasn't super high, like sits below my knees. And there's some scrunching to the design, so it hides the fact that it's loose around the ankles.
Theeen... We went to this other store where I bought a pair of casual shoes a couple months back and saw these cute half-boots. Or ankle boots. Whatever you want to call them... So yeah... SPLURGE! Picked those up as well!

First pair I picked up from Naturalizer. On sale with an extra 20% off! These ones are leather.
The half-boots from Ecco. Half off! These ones are suede.
So yeah... The whole "house-selling-plan" and "escape" that I talked about...
The house is on the market since two weeks ago. They decided to forgo the open house thing, but there are people who have been coming to see the place. So they book an hour's time and basically, we have to skedaddle out of the place during that period. Really sucks sometimes. The listing ends January 31st or something like that - a little more than the typical 90 days.
Today was one such day where there were two visits back-to-back. After church, we rushed off for lunch and then both mom and sissy were getting their hair cut. We still had time before we could go back, so we went shopping.
Anyways, the whole issue is quite sticky-sore of a subject... So won't go into that further. Essentially, my parents are in a huuuge "rush" to sell the place for whatEVER reason that me and sissy do not agree with. But obviously, our say weighs nothing since we're the kids and it's their house to begin with. At this point, I just let them say/think whatever they want on the issue and just uh, ignore it I suppose.
And then to throw in something else I haven't done in a while - hair pictures! hehe~
It's really a bun, but it looks different from usual and I thought it looked cute.

It doesn't have the same uhm... "Coiled" look to it? And almost looks like it was folded over itself from one angle. Pretty neat! At least, it is to me... LOL~
And uhm, yeah. Haven't done anything in the writing department - not with all the distractions. Need to go through some paperwork stuff for the transition at work. Practicing piano again and just yeah... Keeping busy in general!
Oh, and just updates on things I kind of brought up before.
Phone - decided to just order a cheap one from eBay like I did last time. The plans here are waaaay too expensive! Since I could get the phone for nothing, but still end up paying an arm and a leg each month. NOT COOL. I usually only use it for the rare phone call and texting anyways.
Makeup splurge - I felt like buying some makeup again, so I went to Sephora to browse around. First online, but then at the store. I was thinking of a palette from Stila, but once I got there, I decided on a different one from Urban Decay. I really like their stuff! I already have one from them, but I got a different one called "Naked 2". As you can imagine from the name, there is a "Naked" palette XD
It's all various neutral shades. But once I got that, I've been trying to wear eyeshadow more frequently. Every day is still too much since there are days where I'm running late... But otherwise, as much as possible! It was a really nice palette (not cheap though) since it came with a double-sided brush!
Seriously... I apologize if I actually mentioned this stuff before. I have a hard time remembering since the days have just been blurring together. Even remembering what I did yesterday has been difficult =__=;;
