Well! The new chapter for A Demon's Demand has been posted! I think we can all see where the progression of the story is leading up to... I hope. Perhaps not too far off from that teaser I posted a while back? ^__~

Anyways... Anyone have any hints or tips on giving lessons regarding writing??

You once told me ( I believe it was you) to just write exactly what you see going on in your head. I don't know if that helps with the style of writing. As you said, it's personal style.
Another tip you gave me, was telling me how to make sure your sentences don't all start the same. Helps you think of other things to write in front of a sentence.
Of course, a good vocabulary would help me tremendously; then again, my brain won't retain it since I won’t use it often (like Spanish lessons - all down the drain).

Yes, that was so me. hehe, I'm glad you remember my advice ^^ But yes, it's a personal style so it's not something that can be "taught" per say.

Honestly, the way we all make words flow is our unique writing voice. That can be influenced, but not taught. Tell her that she is free to seek inspiration, but that she needs to write in a way that is natural to her, and that ultimately editing is her best friend.

*sigh* A woman after my own heart! You have such a beautiful way with words :)

I don't think she was hoping to copy my writing style since as you say, it's unique. Just hoping for some pointers? But too true - editing is any writer's best friend.
