Sanders Family Winery
Went out wine tasting with my dearest friends. First stop the Sanders Family Winery in Pahrump.
SFW Chardonnay
Bright smell, tastes good with swiss, little bit dry on the sides of my tongue
SFW Serenity
Slight honey smell, basically it's like sex in my mouth. I could drink this all the time forever. The only wine that is perfect for my tastes.
SFW Harmony
Has a gentle, berry smell, tastes awesome with Iberico swiss. Second only in overall taste to Serenity.
SFW Merlot
Has a musty smell, the munchego swiss cuts through the intense tannins, and if you have some dark chocolate in your mouth it makes it much better
SFW Cabernet Sauvignon
Sharp-musty smell, dark chocolate helps
SFW Burgundy
Bright, full smell. Really drinkable, tastes good with basically everything but I mostly just drank it.
SFW Ruby Red Slipper
Sanders Ruby Port w/ ginger ale & a slice of lime. Very refreshing, bright and delicious. A lovely drink.
Basically, Sanders Family Winery makes wines that I find very drinkable. Smooth, tasty, with very little weird aftertastes even on the ones I'm not super fond of (like the Merlot). If I had $100 to just indulge myself, I'd buy like 6 Serenity, 3 Harmony & 1 Burgundy.
