A simple gesture
Today I was food shopping, and my cart ran into a big basket of turnips. The whole thing went flying across the floor all over the place. Alot of people turned and stared, even went so far as to make the "ughh" sound. One man, went out of his way to help me pick them up off the floor, and said "Don't worry about it, anything this ugly shouldn't be sold anyway."
I just thought it was a very sweet gesture, in both action and words. Not something that happens to me alot - and I just wanted to share in appreciation.
