What am I forgetting?

This is an interactive post for all of you out there in live journal land! PLEASE RESPOND WITH SOMETHING!

Here's the deal:

I'm leaving a week from today for a little over 2 weeks to Africa (Johannesburg and Cape Town), London, Dublin, and Cyprus. I'm completely overwhelmed with it all - and there's alot of alone time, travel time, airport time .... and I'll be working right upon take off. (Tom if you're reading this, Rob said he'd do the mutual with me - so you're off the hook!) I need you guys to help make sure I'm not forgetting anything on my trip. Things to bring, things to wear, plane tickets, reservations, registrations, etc. Most of you are well traveled, or if not so, are pretty damn intelligent and can probably think of things I'm missing. In the places I'm going I will be meeting people there.

What I'm planning as far as major events:

- Shark Diving
- Lion King Musical
- Safari
- Mountain Climbing (but not anything crazy .. we're talking man-made paths - not ice picks and snow shoes)
- Daily events, shopping, walking, siteseeing
- A wedding (Jayne and James ... not mine - thank god)
- LOTS OF TIME IN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORTS ALONE

Should I rent an international cellphone?  29.99 per week for three weeks + $4.50 for each additional day. = $98.97. (23 days) In Cyprus - Incoming is free, Outgoing is 99 cents per minute local and international (if it is to a US phone), if it is not, then an additional 49cents per minute.  The same rates applies to S.Africa.  In the UK 89cents outgoing locally, $1.49 to the USA. It will help (at least I think) coordinating with the people I'm meeting in respective countries.

I've registered with the state department - released all private information to family members and a legal representative. I've made copies of everything to leave at home and with someone at work. So at least 2 people will have my day-to-day itineraries God forbid something should happen on a flight or in a country.

The rest is up to you guys. Help me out here. Feel free to ask any questions that will help you get as specific as possible.
