About an hour or so away from the convention. The weather's been great, a nd the drive has been nice and easy. Just relistened to "Half Life" on the CD player. I'm getting more and more excited all the time!! :D

The thing is, being a word-lover like you are, you probably know what cabaret means. I really had no idea what to expect, but it was so wonderful. Chuck Cambell has a really silly and somewhat dirty sense of humor. Robert Picardo has a gorgeous singing voice and he's a fanfic author... sortof. :) He loves the Jekyll and Hyde story and has written a short, minute and a half, summary-type poem of the novel. It was lovely and haunting. Tony Amendola is a sweet, intelligent, passionate man. He recited a famous poem or monologue that started "All the world's a stage, and we merely players..." or something like that, I don't quite remember it all. :( He also recited some Shakespearean love sonnets in such a way that I could completely understand what Shakespeare meant. (To be honest, I never really *get* Shakespeare. :( )
A lot of things happened today, but I'll put it in another post since I can't quite remember it all right now. *blushes*

Robert Picardo is a real treat. Very funny. :) He told a bunch of ST Voyager stories, so I'm glad I'm so familiar with that show.
The Celebrity Cabaret is in an hour. Picardo, Chuck and Tony Amendola (Bra'tac) will be there. I think it will be fun. *crosses fingers* ;)
