(no subject)
Sometimes I forget that I have a livejournal. Wow. I have been on her about once a month for the past few months. Nothing really going on to write about anyway.
Went to squintfest this weekend. It was....ok. Not the best one I have ever attended. I think that was mostly because I went up there by myself. I have never gone by myself before. True...there were a lot people there I knew and could talk with, but it was still weird in ways. Plus the drive there and back sucked. No one to talk to. I talked on my cell phone a lot but that is not the same as someone being there.
Saw Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. I was soooooo curious to see how the hell that book was going to be made into a movie. Loved It. I think my absolute favorite part of the movie was the expression on Arthur's face when he first went into the "construction room floor" and saw all the in-progress planets. I don't think anyone in the world could have had a more accurate expression for that scene...it was awesome. The scene itself was so amazing I got goosebumps, but when you saw the look on Arthur's face you almost believed he was there. I like the guy that got to play Arthur. I really liked Mos Def as Ford, and Alan Rickman as the voice for Marvin was right on. Fucking awesome movie...and if I ever meet the guy that played Arthur in person I was to give him a hug.
Other than that...nothing going on. No tragedy, no good news, live just goes on.
