Day 26-31
Day 26
The frakking internet at my house isn't working. I can check my email and such through my phone but I can't post to or check lj on it. Grr first timewarner takes away my MSG and now they are messing with my Internet usage. Not cool man.
Day 27
Going through Internet withdrawal. At least my computer is working so I can read fics that I have saved and play games that I've already downloaded. Still no idea why my intertubes is broken though.
Day 28
I just realized that the spring semester of school is starting next week. It's my last semester at BMCC so I need to apply to schools to transfer to. Despite the current terrible climate in the field I'm going to get my degree in Education. Unemployment here I come!
Day 29
I'm going to sleep over at my bff's house. She requested that I do so because she wants to start watching Deadwood and I own the first season on DVD. I forgot how much I loved that show. The writing, the acting, everything in it was so epic.
Still no intertubes tho.
Day 30
Had my first day of classes for this semester. I'm taking Statistics, General Biology, Children's Literature and an online course on the Art of the Detective Story. The latter is definitely going to be my favorite and not just because it doesn't require me to go to class. The reading list for the class is awesome. Right now we are reading the stories of the detective C. Auguste Dupin by the great Edgar Allan Poe. I'm a happy camper... besides my continuing Internet woes.
Day 31
It's back, it's back! My Internet is back! Now I have to go to class.
