I've never lived in an area where there are cockroaches, and I'm not sure I'd ever like to meet one.
But for me, that reaction is for spiders. My reaction is pretty much exactly what Greatshow wrote:
I jumped and screeched like a little bitch. LOL. Shaking my shirt and body, trying to make sure it was off of me. And even with it off me, I was still shaking my shirt at the thought of such a pest having been on me.
Oh yeah. I go through the heebie-jeebies for long minutes if I even *think* a spider has touched my body...whether on skin or on clothes.
I just kill most of them on sight. The only ones I can stand are those itty bitty ones that are about the size of the point of a small sewing needle - you know, the ones that drift on a strand of web and float on the lightest waft of air? I think they're kind of cute & fun playing with, as they let out more & more web to try to drop away from you (holding end of the strand in your hand). I just play with those ones for a few seconds and then let 'em go.
If only God made 'em all that small. I would make my peace with them. LOL (Death to all else.)
