i hate technology sometimes....
So i haven't been able to get on this bugger since we've had a virus and had to redo the whole 'puter grrrrrrr. Bear with me as i try to recap the past few weeks. I've been working in a salon now for two weeks, going on my third. I took the offer from the first salon i spoke of before. So far everything has been great :) More walk-in's, nice people, and the clients are all very nice ( with the exception here and there lol ). I'm still not making huge money but all in good time..... I quit Fredrick's because the underdog to the DM said "just can me or demote me" since i didn't work well for their scheduling needs; going down to two days and all. That's fine... retail is never a long lived life and i knew that. Some bills have caught up to me as well and the Gap hasn't given me any hours the past three weeks so i had to give my notice to them too. Since i wasn't on the schedule for that following week, i more or less just quit. It is nice to be out of the mall though. I had a good time for the few months i was there but life must go on. Speaking of mall, if you read this Jamie... ring me up sometime or drop me an email. I finally have my puter fixed so i'd like to chat with ya and see how you are doing :)
Love life... hmmm not much there lol. I did go out on a date last Friday but there was the dreaded non-chemistry thing so it didn't work out well. I'll probably still chat with him from time to time but ehhh too many things not in common for that to work out. Very nice guy though for any single ladies out there ;)
Went to Nino Salvaggio's today... got an almond cookie bar... kinda feeling gross from eating so much sugar blech...
I have been speaking more with my cousin Lindsey which is cool. Lindsey and I grew up together but we aren't actual blood cousins. Her mom and my mom have been friends since they were 4 years old so they're practically family. Lindsey and I have been off and on for the past few years with each of us going off and doing our own thing. I have made attempts in the past to hang out more but at times, i think she gets caught up in what she has going on and never gets back with me. We are supposed to go out this Wednesday night so i'm excited but still walking with soft steps around that whole thing.
I cleaned my car today cause it was RANK gross gross gross... Saw something metal by my tire and low and behold, i had a nail in it grrrr. Had to drive up to the tire place and use up my fun budget on a new tire. I'm bummed lol Can't wait to have more money rolling in from this new job. I hate being broke. Suppose i am glad i had the $75 for a new tire at least.
Guess that's the long and short for now. I'll be back later...
