I've moved to Chicago! It's mecca for hockey fandom, especially after the drought that was being an NHL fan in Edinburgh/London. Tough times. On the flip side, I've suddenly met new, awesome fangirls and it's blowing my mind that there are entire real life communities here where chicks can just kick back, watch some Hawks, talk some slash, and nobody bats an eyelash. I kind of picked Chicago out of thin air, purely for the love of the city, so it's been incredible to have such an instant support group.

Thanks puckling for being the connecting operator to hockey fandom!! Looking forward to meeting svmadelyn and everyone else in the city who's down for some pints and olympic viewings :D
