What do you guys make of the music of Green Day? I saw them on the Saturday Night Live and--what can i say?--I like their music! It's definitely rock 'n' roll. But i don't listen a lot of music and, well, i distrust something that i like too much, especially when i am not sure about my taste in the general category of that something. I guess a 15th century European peasant couldn't tell you what kind of chocolate tastes better, either.
Now you know where I'm coming from. Can anyone tell me what is right or wrong about the music of Green Day? I'm going to listen to them anyway, but whatever you say will influence how i listen.
I feel great. I have found a mission in life but it's hard to explain, so i'll refrain from it for now. At the bottom of it, though, it is about fighting indifference.
I'll do a lot of music listening in the next few days. A friend of mine burned some CDs for me--Ryan Adams, Bob Dylan's Time Out of Mind, The Microphones, Blonde Redhead, Early Day Miners, and Chris Brokaw. I listened to the last two bands yesterday and their music appealed to me. There is this melancholy aura to their sound, which i liked.
I am basically going to chill out Wednesday. It's been a long time since i had internet access at home, so i no longer have to camp out in public libraries for internet access.
