I've never owned a cat (not compatible with dogs and small rodents) but I have got to know a few and every single one of them is like that, except for the one that thought it was a dog.

Methos in the Dresden Verse is so much fun to write, and as Adam Pierson he would be happier than a pig in muck in Harry's house. It's nice that you're enjoying it as much as me!

The Ancient Egyptian would definitely endear Mister to Methos. Methos is one of my favorite fictional characters ever created, and he fits in perfectly to the Dresden Files bookverse.

My take on the Dresden Verse is a weird smushing of the TV and book verses as there are things I adore from both (I couldn't not have Bob as TV!Bob for instance) and I like the place TV!Harry lives so much I couldn't have him anywhere else.

Well cats generally make more sense than people ;-) and each cat is of course the centre of the universe. I speculate that Methos is in fact a cat in immortal form so maybe he likes talking to his own kind.
