My library doesn't know this book exists, but Amazon does, so I ordered it. From England.

I hope it has a happier ending than history!

Usually it's me ordering books/dvds from the USA.
I hope it doesn't take too long to arrive and that you get as much enjoyment out of it as I have. Freda's also a really nice person, I've bumped into her at Whitby Goth Weekend a couple of times.

Another Rec: "The Wizard's Shadow" by Susan Dexter.

Quite a decent fantasy with Ricardian elements.

Have you ever read John Ford's The Dragon Waiting? It's about the best alternative history fantasy I've ever read, also about Richard III. He also wrote How Much for Just the Planet? which is a Star Trek novel, and histerically funny.

Well, I had to order it from the UK too, since the only copy over here was in the line of 40-something dollars. For a paperback.

Ooer. $40 for a paperback? That is why I had to wait for so long to get my hands on "An Evening at Joe's" as most of the time it was going for silly money.

I used to have 2 copies of the Freda Warrington book, don't know if I still have...
