Jack didn’t need the Doctor to tell him that the TARDIS was healed from her stint as a Paradox machine, he felt it; or rather he felt *her*. Her sparkling and unblemished presence rushed back into the place he kept for her, and her alone, in the back of his mind. He stroked her battered body lightly and whispered,

Thank you! The libation part was the first bit that popped into my head, and the rest got written around that. Funny how one's mind works sometimes.

It's the second Jack/TARDIS fic I've written, and pretty much covers the same night. Having said that, this one is in the 'real' whoniverse (or a different AU to the other at least) has a different feel to it. I'm of the opinion that you can't have too many Jack/TARDIS fics anyway! *g*
