*tap tap tap* Is this thing on?
Hello LJ world. Long time, no see (or read for that matter).
I am back in work after having had almost 2 months off, which isn't bad, but is rendering me rather tired. I also have a new pup - who isn't really a pup - an 8 year old ex racing greyhound with only 4 teeth (his canines). If he didn't already have a name (Paddy) I'd be tempted to call him Toothless as he's black. I picked him up after Starfury: Vampire Ball 5, which meant I was actually looking forward to the end of the convention for a change. It's Whitby soon, and he will be going with me. Could be fun as his recall isn't brilliant yet, but he's a real gentle giant.
I went to see Clannad again this month, this time at the Anglican cathedral, and they were fantastic.
On the writing side of things, I think I've only managed about 2 paragraphs since I completed Reign of Scars in March though I'm hoping that might change as I just happened to catch the Dresden Files: Boone Identity on telly about an hour ago and it reminded me how much I love those characters, plus it is a very relevant ep to my fic City of Delusion. Fingers crossed!
