I like St David - he's the only patron saint of a UK country that is actually a native of that country. Some would say that's an example of Welsh practicality.

I have 1 daffodil in my garden and it hasn't flowered yet. :(
Should get myself some Bara Brith later and have a nice cup of Welsh mead.
