Leon *has* to be an immie - he should have been dead about 3 times over by now. Of course now I've found a new plot bunny which tells me Leon and Methos bemoan the inaccuracy of legend over beer and as Methos has already shown up in this verse, it's a highly likely occurrence. Darn bunnies.

Well written. I feel sorry for Gaius. I do like the idea of Leon being an immortal.

As soon as I saw the ep I was thinking of when Gaius would have had the time to say goodbye. It's kind of weird to be writing the end of the relationship when I haven't even written their first meeting yet (Darius and Methos are being distracting).

I've often wondered if they might have been a couple. This is so touching and heartfelt. Oh poor Gaius, left to grieve after his love has gone. That is the hardest cut. To watch someone younger than you go before you. So it must be heart breaking for Leon as an immortal to know and see so many secrets. This tale says so much in such a short space of time. Wonderfully written and well done.

I have been convinced right from the first series that Gaius and Uther had a thing going in the past, though I didn't write about it until 2009, so my heart just went out to him.
