Questions 2) Name the fandoms you've written in, and how much you've written in that fandom, and if you still write in it.
Shall I do this in alphabetical order or what? Answers behind the cut
To split this up into something approaching sense I shall do it in terms of amount I think.
Mentioned in passing (and not necessarily in a complete fic)
Blake's 7
Buffy,
Darkover,
Lexx,
Farscape
Firefly
Forever Knight
As these are all fandoms I love but find difficult to write I doubt there will ever be a complete fic involving any of them - unless it is a drabble.
Mentioned in 1-5 drabbles/fics
Abney Park (if a band can count as a fandom)
Discworld
Doctor Who
Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy
Merlin (BBC)
NCIS
Most of these have the potential to have more fic written involving them, particularly Merlin as it now has its own AU and I know there are more stories to be told in that verse. I think I will always only be an occasional visitor in both the Discworld, H2G2 and NCIS universes but I love them, have had some success with managing to write for them and hope to write more! As for Doctor Who, well, we'll have to see. I like TARDIS-centric fic and I haven't done anything for either Eleven's TARDIS (either version) or the classic TARDIS so never say never. Fic wise, Doctor Who has never been a major focus of mine even though I love it.
Main Fandoms (past and present)
Dresden Files
Highlander
Torchwood
Voyager
I am actively writing in the first 3 verses, usually as crossovers, my Dresden Files/Highlander crossovers being the most popular on AO3. My Torchwood Big Bang in 2009 and my OC Big Bang for this year are both Highlander/Torchwood crossovers. On AO3 there are over 60 fics tagged for either Highlander or Torchwood (or both) - there are 33 works in the Mystery Verse alone and my longest fic to date (over 53k words) is part of this verse.
Voyager was the verse in which I first spread my fanfic wings but up until I discovered a sneaky Tuvok/Kim muse in 2008 I hadn't written any new Voyager fic in years. I'm not sure I'll write any more but like I said that Tuvok/Kim muse is sneaky so I might be surprised! Plus, there is always more of Siannon O'Niall's story to be told in the Voyager time line.
