You may not realise this, but I love this very much.

And yes, you've found a new fandom. And you write it well :)

I have yet to dip my toes in Merlin (*snerk*) - tried for ages to write a Merlin/Doctor Who, but ended up tying myself up in knots over it all so that's currently abandoned. Maybe I'll take the plunge this month and write a non-crossover for starters. Hmm, wonder what prompts there are....

Thanks! I've avoided Merlin mostly as I find some of the people just a tad scary...

A non-crossover might be just the way forward (I'm determined to try and do a 'young Gaius' fic at some point). Go with the flow and see where it takes you!

consci_fan_mo is ideal for airing all those little ideas that don't seem to be right for a grand project or bits of scenes that never quite fit in to anything else. It's very liberating and I had great fun last year.

You... there was...

I was itching for Merlin and Methos to interact and then, when they did? Oh poor Merlin.

“Take care, young warlock, and listen to Gaius; he has your best interests at heart.”
OMG that voice.

Thank you for opening the comm with such a beautiful piece of writing.

*blushes* It was a pleasure! I was counting down the minutes...

This has been begging to be written for a while; I've seen so many people commenting here and there that Colin Morgan reminds them of Peter Wingfield that I decided I had to do something with that.

Hee! Me too :D

Colin Morgan reminds them of Peter Wingfield
Not my first thought, I'll admit but now you mention it...

I'll consider myself bribed. Glad you like.

Now if someone would *draw* a Highlander/Merlin crossover I would be happier than a happy thing so please do bug your friend a bit more!

I love this, even though I don't really care much for the new Merlin -- I have a feeling i'm going to be talked into a new "almost fandom" (won't watch the show, will read the fic of those whose work I like).

So glad you like it!

I enjoy the new Merlin, but mostly because... hey, it's MERLIN. I had a semi-serious Merlin obsession for years.

I watch the TV show with about 4 pairs of eyes and depending on which set I'm using, I gain something different from it. I still have the slash goggles to hand but my #1 pairing is Gaius/Uther rather than the more mainstream Merlin/Arthur one (though they are seriously cute together) and my #2 is Gwen/Morgana. I'm kind of approaching it in an 'almost fandom' way too because I don't really want to be wading through reams of fic that doesn't interest me to get to the gems - my flist, as always, will provide. *g*

I never thought I would find myself hanging on to each word with Merlin or Highlander, but you've done it!

Wow! I really, really enjoyed it very much!

Thank you!

So very pleased I've sneaked something in under your radar, it probably helps that you knew it wasn't going to be an epic!
