Bummer ... We left the guidebook in rome to dump weight. For rome... Off of the top of my head, go to "cul de sac" which is on the street that runs from east to west just touching the south end of piazza nevona. Go east maybe a block or two... Or just look it up. You *must* order a cheese plate with the honey and jam. And ask for the real wine list!! Omg. Also.... Tapas locas just west of the middle of piazza navona. Killer.

In florence, south of ponte vecchio... Take your first left and go a block or so. On the left is the "o" bar, cafe and restaurant. So tasty... And do the uffizi... But order tickets online for a set time and pick them up at door number three in advance to avoid the line to buy tickets. They only sell a certain number per hour due to crowding. Then go straight to door 1. I'll check to see if i can retrace our steps a bit and let you know.

Totally unimpressed with venice. Get outside the tourist areas forless expensive but still sub par food. Also, take the vaporetto and train back to the airport... the taxi is pricey and the blue line group taxi takes FOREVER, is pricey and crowded.

Have fun... Can't wait to hear about your trip! Xo
