What day is it?
I've been so busy trying to keep up with my house and laundry and company etc. Today I did two loads of laundry and 2 days ago I did 4 loads! My dad is here (well not really here....he's in Ohio until tomorrow). We've been having a lot of fun and taking lots of pictures. I feel like I should figure out something to go do on Saturday or something while Dad and Matthew are here. I don't want them to have to hang out in the house the WHOLE time that they are here. We stayed in a lot while Mom was here, but I was still adjusting to having two kids and hiding out.
I'm not hiding out anymore, but I'm still not running a million errands either. My biggest thing lately has been food. I need food ideas (lunch and dinner for me and a 2 year old) I need stuff that's easy to make. I have sandwich stuff or whatever, but sometimes I don't get lunch. Starting around noon I am trying to feed Benjamin and usually Abigail at the same time. Then I try to get Benjamin down for a nap around 1 and try and get Abigail to sleep too and by then it seems like it's 3pm and not worth eating lunch anymore. I just don't have time to do anything that takes prep work it seems. And I just DON'T have ideas for stuff, stuff that Benjamin will eat so I don't have to cook twice, etc etc. SPAM me please with your easy lunch and dinner ideas (toddler friendly prefered, but open to anything)
I've been knitting a lot today though. I'm working on a new pair of shorties for Abigail and pimped out some of my yarn to
eloewien to get her to make a pair of longies. The original shorties I made for her are too small. I knew they would be pretty quickly, but I made them small because I was just trying the pattern.
This evening when I finally felt like picking up the mountain of toys on the living room floor and trying to be productive....the water is out (of course when I actually feel like doing the dishes). Our water has been going out more frequently lately and it's pretty annoying...hello??? I have babies! I need my water! KThanx.
I also tripped a breaker while I was vacuuming...hahaha. That's what I get for running the AC full blast today and the music going and the computer plugged in and the fish tank pump, etc etc.
No idea about what I'm going to cook for dinner because we really don't have water, so I can't make rice or pasta or some other normalish food. It had better be back on soon or I will pretty irate.
