New job FINALLY!!!
Okay, so I started my new job this past Monday, and I loooooove it. I'm still working at Damon's, so I haven't had a day off at all this week, which is fine, cause I don't really have anything better to do with my time anyway but work. However, my new job wants me to work 9am to 5pm starting this Monday. I'm so excited, because I'll finally have my 9to5 job I've been looking for. I'm loving it. I'm going to bed at a decent hour, getting up at 7am, taking a shower, going to MickyDEE's for breakfast... get home in the evening... see my friends... its great. Anyway, about my new job, yer gonna get a kick out of this LOL
I sell $2.00 bills LOL Yes, $2.00 bills, you read it correct the first time. Don't make me repeat myself again. Jesus! Anyway, the nice thing though is that I don't call ppl and annoy them, they call me! Its all inbound calls. We run ads in newspapers (USA Today, NY Times, local newspapers) and coin collectors etc call, because they are willing to pay major money for uncirculated $2 bills... we also sell the state coins uncirculated... and other various collectibles. This company makes major cash. Like, you pay $23.85 for one pack of 5 uncirculated $2 bills. You pay the face value of $10 then a $9 processing fee and $5.85 for shipping & handling. Its nuts, but ppl actually buy TEN packs for $238.50 I sold 5 ten packs yesterday alone. And commission is great. We get $.50 after every ONE set we sell to anyone one person. If we only sell a person one set, we get no commission, but if we sell 8 sets, we get $.50 for each 7 after the one. I made $80 in commission yesterday alone on top of my $8 an hour. And its a growing company. They started small back in 2002, and in the past month they hit it big and have grown from about having 30 employees to over 60... and they are talking about getting a new building, cause its going to get too small... so they hired me saying they have some new and great opportunities for employees, and I've always been good at sales, so if I kiss enough ass, maybe I can get promoted... ***JOY*** So finally, I'm done with serving, well, not yet really... I'm still doing it for this weekend and possibly next weekend, but after that I'm done.
Anyway, just wanted to update you on my job. Hopefully it doesn't grow old really quick, cause I've done telemarketing for about a year before I started Damon's, but I called and annoyed ppl... so it was a bit different, but sitting in that chair for 8 hours a day can get a little annoying... but so far this place gives the best breaks... I get a break every 2 hours... work 2 hours, break, work 2 hours lunch, work 2 hours break, work 2 hours go home... the last call center I worked at was fucking nuts... come in, work 4 hours, 15 min. break, work 3 hours, lunch, work 1 hour go home. I fucking went to lunch an HOUR before my shift ended LOL That place sucked...
Didn't go to gay day. Sorry guys LOL I mean, love my fags and all, but I love my father more LOL I would just love to know the brilliant fag that, obviously, didn't get along with his father that sat around saying, "Lets have GAY DAY on a holiday, better yet, lets make it *EVIL LAUGH* FATHERS DAY!" No, I'm not seeing my dad the day before, or the day after, I'm doing it when I can see my dad, mom, sister, brothers etc. I happen to love and be close to my family... but dammit, it sounded fun. WHY ON FATHERS DAY!?! WHY!!!! LMAO
Performed at the Belt however on Fathers Day LOL Talk about a fun time. I get up to do my second song and BOTH the mics kept dying... it was a good time though, everyone was laughing, so I mean, I did a nice little song as my first number and then a funny little comical act for my final one LOL Anyways...
Chip and I are doing good. We hardly see each other cause he's busy with work and his other activities... plus we usually work opposite... so when I'm sleeping he's awake cause he's not tired, or when I'm awake he's sleeping... or when I'm working he's awake and at home and then when I get home he's going to work... but we did get to spend some time last night together, it was nice. BITCH hit me with his leather belt though (joking around) but it fucking hurt! But we hung out last night with the local New Phila (there chip) fags down here, Rob and Dan :) We hung out all night playing video games LOL Halo for Xbox and Mario Party 5 for GameCube... so much fun. I had them all pissed cause I was winning in Mario Party 5 and then fucking boyfriend CHIP got some stupid item to give all my STARS to fucking ROB! ASSHOLE! So I was winning but then lost :( FUCKERS!!! I still hate them for that LOL
Anyway, going to wake Chip up at 11AM LMAO Good luck with this! We are going to attempt to spend the day together before I go to Damon's at 5... we're gonna see a movie and go out to dinner. However, waking his ass up before the afternoon is difficult LOL Anyway, wish me luck. LUV YA GUYS!!! XOXOXOX
