| Fun Filled Weekend |
To Say The Least.
Good, now that i've got your attention,

My weekend started off like normal, a usual day. As the clock rolled around to 5pm est,
Erica came home and we had planned to go to Orlando to meet with a friend of hers to go
see a concert at the Social.
Hinder was playing there that night and we had our tickets ready to go.
We met up with Kristen and her bf, sat down, chatted, drank a bit and waited
for the time to roll around so we could walk over to the building.
We met up with another one of Kristen's friends and were on our way to see the show.
Since it was "Sold the f*ck out", as the sign said on the door, her friend could not
get in on short notice. Even though later on, a group of friends showed up and one
of them did not have an ID to get it, so they ended up selling the ticket to us.
Five Star Iris was opening up and I had no clue what Hinder looked like,
so I kinda thought that was the band we came to see.
It was nice, both bands rocked the house down. Even though they both had
diff playing styles, the music was great on both ends.
Now, when Hinder 1st came out, the lead singer had a glass of wine with him
and put it down somewhere and took sips every once and while (along with water).
Towards the end of their set, the glass was empty, and when the lead guitarist
went in the middle to doin his solo, the lead singer busted the glass over his
head, which instantly sliced open the guy's forehead and blood began to pour.
We felt kinda bad for him, cuz he had to play his guitar, with blood dripping
all over his face. You could tell he was in pain for the last 2 songs, but
he stuck it out and finished. They are a good band, check them out.
NOW. . . . when we got in the car, we drove onto the highway and not too
long after that we heard these thumps on the road.
L: umm.. Do we have a flat?
Me: Umm.. I dunno. . .
L: Yup, we do.. damn. .
Me: Pull over!!
So we do, this being about midnight. NP. I get out, we fix the flat and
sit back in the car to head on home.
Car: *crank crank*
L: hmmm. . .
Me: LOL nice..
L: OK, this is messed up. . .
Me: w00t! We camping outside!
So we get back out and figure out the battery had died while we had
our hazards on. So to make a long (frustrating) story short, we basically
stay there for about 4 hours, while we see Troopers, Cops, Tow Trucks and
countless cars drive by.
We end up having to call/pay a Tow Truck to come out and jump us. >.>
Which didnt make us very happy, but w/e, it was nearing 5AM and we
were tired and just wanted to get home.
PS: If you see someone on the side of the road.... PULL OVER and ask
if they at least need a Phone Call to help. Its Karma people. . .

And last but certainly not least. As of this Saturday Night, me and Erica
are officially engaged. I have had the Ring for a little while now, and
had planned to give it to her on several occasions, such as @ Sea World
a few times, and at a restaurant, but the mood and other things made it
so I couldnt att.
But when we got home this Saturday night, both our spirits were high and
we were both happy, so I figured it would be best to ask then. So I did.
She said "Yes" of course, yet we have no plans for a wedding just yet.
Those things cost money and alot of time invested in them. So we will
take our time and plan things out nicely.
