Oh Hell, I may buy a PS3
So I've been keeping track of some of the key points at E3 this year, and I have to say despite seeing more of games I already knew about Microsoft has had a disappointing display. I just watched a demo of PS3's home network, and I'm really impressed with what is going on with it. They start the demo with a low key version on a cell phone and took a picture w/ it. Then home was launched and the guy's avatar popped up. It's like everyone has their own personal area they can create as well as public areas for live mini-games like bowling. His personal area had a picture frame on the wall of what was just taken w/ the cell phone. Then the home has the capability to launch games immediately from inside the program so you don't have to log off or anything. It looks like they made the Sims Online w/ more realistic looking avatars then Sims 2 models. I was impressed and the more I look at PS3, the more I'd like to buy one some day.
