So I'd really like to get back into comic books again. I used to collect a lot of comics and different big stories. A 14 issue span for Maximum Carnage and I'm only missing 3 of them. (cat on keyboard) its about a journalist who has to cover politics because he is the best. only its set in sort of post some sort of disaster era. its pretty good. um if youve seen constantine (sp?) then its the same comic publishing company that made that only the books are better than the movie. its a subsidiary of dc/darkhorse now. but the basic classic vertigo books (books of magik, sandman, preacher, constantine, death (who is a character in sandman but got her own 4 book mini series), shade the changing man) are more about people in situations rather than classic good vs. evil fight to save the world. also a personal classic favorite of mine is always jhonny the homicidal maniac put out by slave labor but i think is more commonly avalible in graphic novel form by some other company. JTHM was created by the same guy who made invader zim which aired for a season or 2 on nicklodeon before being cancled due to content or general parental disgust but is well worth watching if you injoy a few good one liners from an alien or his robot.
