Life sucks right now.
Well, no, not exactly. But it DID just become a lot more complicated.
See, last night I was driving my girlfriend home, and I wearing my newly acquired Organization XIII coat at the time. Why? Because I wanted to. Well, said coat has lots of clasps and things that can get stuck on a seatbelt, which mine proceeded to do in such a way that I could not move. So, I looked down and removed a hand from the wheel to try and fix it.
And I crashed into a parked car.
GO ME!
Both cars received extensive front end damage and had to be towed. I actually hit the parked car in such a way that I spun it completely around. How I did this, I have no idea, as I wasn't going more than 35 mph at the time.
So...yeah. My parents have levied a "you can't drive without one of us" rule for the foreseeable future, so getting to Otakon (which I was leaving for in two days) just became considerably more of a problem.
My insurance premiums are certain to become astronomical, since this is my second serious accident in less than two years (the other time I hit a tree. Stationary objects do not like me). However, the new rates won't go into effect until January, so I at least have time to sock away some money to pay for it.
Also, I have to look into getting a new car. Probably not before I go back to school, but certainly within the next year. And that costs money, too.
Moneymoneymoneymoneymoney....Oy.
Yeah.
car problems,
