Still in school... crap.
Just close enough to make the weather MISERABLE but not close enough to get school canceled. Although my Brit Lit prof gave extra credit to everyone who showed up today. Thanks, Wilma. I am cold and wet and about to go to French. Grrrr....
I just heard one girl talking on the phone saying it was "definitely tropical storm conditions" here and that we are risking our lives by being at school.
1) If you really think it's that dangerous, stay home. I have heard 10 people complaining about the risks of coming to school. Go home.
2) Tropical Storm conditions? I really do not think she's ever been in a tropical storm. It's rainy, cold, and just slightly windy. It is like winter. NOT tropical storm. Good Lord. Me and two people around me raised our eyebrows when we heard her say that and one guy almost laughed, but no one said anything.
Now, off to the Union for a snack and some reading. I wish there were some where close by where I could be inside and study and not be insanely crowded. Maybe the benches right inside the doors of Turlington. I need to get out my winter wardrobe. It is definitely COLD.
