Tuesday night: hanging out with JENN and SALYER!! Do not see Failure to Launch. It is bad. But Jenn and Salyer are good.
The boy has returned to American soil. So yesterday we hung out here for a bit, went to Long Run Park, toured the Peddlar's Mall, ate Macaroni Grill, and retired to his grandparents' house for some quality teevee time. It is soooo wonderful to have him back, to be around him, to remember what every single night used to be like. However, our relationship (though ordained by the cosmos; see: the way we like our steaks cooked) may be doomed, because he currently is unwilling to name his first-born "Scrotum-foot." This could be a problem, because I really want kids named after mangy park scavenger ducks.
Tonight: Shelbyville Horse Show!!! We are attending with Ben Ray, Jenn, Mize, and uhhh other fun people.
