Apartment Fire.....
The Captain and Firemen.....
They were outside discussing strategy on how to seal with the situation, I assume. I am not sure. They didn't tell any of us anything until it was all done.
Aedan and I were playing Scrabble when someone knocked on the door. Aedan answered it. He closed the door and told me that the apartment downstairs was on fire!
I was in disbelief at first. I grabbed the cat and the squirrel, getting them into my Explorer, and then of course, I grabbed my computer.
You could smell the plastic burning from outside the apartment below me. My neighbour was rather calm about it all. I was quite concerned. Flames do travel up!
As you will see, the firemen had to tear up my neighbour's bathroom ceiling. It was a 'fart fan' that had caught on fire.
We are all fine, but my downstairs neighbours are getting to move into a different apartment in the complex.
