Bumbershoot
I'm down in Seattle, checking out the Bumbershoot Festival for the first time!
First we caught the second half of Health's set, and they're...different, but I like them. The programme calls them "noise makers". Then we caught Alice's favourite band, Civil Twilight, and they were excellent! We were right up against the stage,and man was that an experience! I now also own their album. After that we caught a bit of Bob Schneider, who was good, but I couldn't seem to really get drawn into his music. Afterwards, we had a break for a late dinner behind the stage with This Providence, then got in line for Cute Lepers. They were good, but I'd probably appreciate them more if I weren't utterly exhausted.
I'm going to get a full night's sleep, then Vienna tomorrow!
