SPN 7x11 "Adventures in Babysitting" rant
A bit late but it’s exam time so please forgive my lateness - anyway! Yes yes yes SPN is back and I am happy! Supernatural came back at the same week Sherlock came back so I am haaaaaappeeeeeeh!! (But if I put any bullet points of awesome up about Sherlock I'd be quoting nearly the entire episode....)
These are things I liked about SPN this week....
+ The opening. Rock music and Lucifer! LUCIFER!!! Ohhhh I really want more hell memories, I love well-adjusted Sam but I am really craving more hell angst.... :(
+ Dean drinking again. Oh dear, my poor Dean. You need to attend an AA meeting, love.
+ Meaningful looks. SO MANY MEANINGFUL LOOKS!! I’m sorry but the weeks passing thing and the end between the boys and... I just love the meaningful looks.
+ Sam’s puppy dog eyes convincing the kid to let him into the house. I swear, those eyes can stop wars. Soooo pretty! <3
+ Sam’s hair. Okay, being vain again but LOOK AT THE PRETTY!!!
+ Whatever Happened to Bobby Singer? Yes yes yes I know everybodys thinking it with the disappearing beer but still BOBBY! Plus, did we see a funeral pyre? Nope nope so maybe it is him. :)
+ Krissy. When I heard about her being in it as a hunter’s kid I was not really interested but she turned out to be a pretty funny character, like a mini-Dean. The actress who played her really carried that off; she was so sassy! You go to Stanford, girl, and you become a paediatrician/hunter :D
+ Frank. Dude, you can’t not love Frank, he’s so nutso and his quote about Gwyneth Paltrow made me fall over laughing. I look forward to a bit more of Frank in the future :)
+ The MOTW. Their fangs were kick ASS!!! I mean wooooow! And I seriously NEED to see some fics of Sam and Dean as... whatever their names are because there is certainly fic potential there. Yup.
+ Sammy tied up. Oh Sammy, you’re tied up, your neck is bleeding and STILL you’re such a BAMF sacrificing yourself to save hunter dad! Good guy Sam should be a meme :)
+ Dean and Krissy being lame. Haha oh my! Fist bump FTW!! I took a fit when Dean just wouldn’t let his hand drop there.
+ Sad smiling at the end to Mr Fantasy. GAH!! Dean, I MUST hug you?!?! I MUST I MUST!!! :(
So all in all, not bad. The beginning with the weeks passing and the end with Dean killed me, so very sad. Also, I had a sudden moment of OMFG!! IMPALA?!?! YOU BACK BB?!?! But then I saw... nope, not Impala. And then I broke inside. I miss baby :(
Next week’s episode..... well.... I’m kinda half looking forward to it and half dreading it but I’ll give SPN the benefit of the doubt and focus on the looking forward to it!
And in the meantime, I have to work on my j2_fairytales fic... still so much to do and so little time...
